Three remain as men's basketball conference unbeatens

  Three teams still have unblemished conference records after a Thanksgiving-shortened ACCAC men's basketball week.

  Glendale and Mesa are both 3-0, although one will have a loss after those two meet Wednesday at GCC. The Gauchos poured in their fourth 100-point-plus game in a 113-92 win at Tohono O'odham. The starting lineup accounted for all but six of Glendale's points. Joshuwan Johnson led the way with 31 points. Terell Handy Johnson added 24, while Caleb Edwards and Cassius Carmichael each had 21. Quincy Trammell dropped in 29 points and had 11 rebounds for TOCC while Tajik Bartholomew added 26 points. GCC is 7-2 in all games.

  MCC is 3-0 and 5-2 after a 78-41 win at Phoenix.

  Arizona Western had a bye in conference play but defeated Imperial Valley, 75-56, in non-league action. Daniel Kiely paced the Matadors with 20 points, hitting 9-12 from the field. AZW has an overall record of 8-2.

  Three other teams are 2-1.

  Eastern Arizona improved to 9-1 with a 73-58 win at Chandler-Gilbert. Nathaniel Pollard, Jr., had 25 points and 12 rebounds, while Jalen Brown scored 20 for EAC. Matt Hill led the Coyotes with 15.

  Scottsdale beat South Mountain, 67-60, and then played a non-league contest against New Mexico Military which it won, 85-83, playing at Chandler-Gilbert. In the SMCC contest, Xavier Fuller had 24 points and 15 rebounds while Kareen Clark led the Cougars with 20. Fuller then dropped 26 more points, and had ten boards, in the win over NMMI. Boogie Anderson had 20 for SCC which is 7-1 in all games.

  Cochise scored a 73-54 victory at Central Arizona as Naje Smith led the way with 33 points on 14-22 shooting.
