Softball
Division I – Pitcher of the Week – Jessica Mercado – Central Arizona – Pitched 14 innings in two games, picking up two wins while striking out 10. She is a freshman from Casa Grande, AZ.
Division I – Player of the Week – Miki Berg – Yavapai – Played in two Roughrider wins and went 6-7 (.857). The sophomore from Henderson, Nev., hit three home runs and had a double and a triple. She drove in eight runs and scored five herself.
Division II – Player of the Week – Alexa Key – South Mountain – In four Cougar victories hit .786 (11-14) including with five RBIs. She scored ten runs, stole seven bases and walked four times. She is a freshman from Casa Grande, AZ's Casa Grande H.S.
Baseball
Division I Player of the Week – Terrell Huggins – Pima – In four Aztec victories he hit .455 (5-11) including two home runs, a double and six RBIs. The sophomore from Tucson's Cienega H.S. scored five runs, walked twice and stole a base.
Division I Pitcher of the Week – Noah Estrella – Pima – A sophomore from Tuscon, AZ, and Flowing Wells H.S., he pitched seven innings in a shutout over Cochise, allowing just four hits while striking out five and walking none.
Division II Player of the Week – Trey Winget – GateWay – Went 8-15 (.533) in four games. Among the eight hits were four home runs and two doubles. Had six RBIs, three walks and two steals. He is a freshman from Washington, Utah, and Desert Hills H.S.
Women's Soccer
Division II Player of the Week – Daisy Meza – Phoenix – The Phoenix, AZ, native from Thunderbird H.S. scored five goals in two Bears' wins.
Division II Goalkeeper of the Week – Jennifer Avillar – Phoenix – Played all 180 minutes in two PC wins making five saves and getting one shutout. She is a freshman from Phoenix, AZ, and Poston Butte H.S.
Men's Soccer
Player of the Week – Luis Gandara – Phoenix – The sophomore from Avondale, AZ, and Westview H.S. scored the only goal of the game in a win over previously unbeaten Pima.
Goalkeeper of the Week - Carlos Gallardo – Phoenix – Made eighth saves in a 1-0 victory over Pima. He is a sophomore from Greeway H.S., and Phoenix, AZ.
