Men's Basketball

Division I– Quincy Reece – Mesa – Scored 22 points and added 15 rebounds as MCC overcame a 16-point halftime deficit to defeat Williston St,, 67-62. Also had two assists, a block and a steak. He is a freshman from Red Mountain in Mesa, AZ.

Division II– Daniel Moody – Pima – A sophomore from Tucson, AZ, and Walden Grove H.S,, he scored 30 points against Arizona Sol on 12-17 shooting. That included 6-11 on three-pointers. Added ten rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Women's Basketball

Division I – Catarina Ferreira – Eastern Arizona – Scored 16 points, including making 4-7 on three pointers, in a conference win over South Mountain. Also had six rebounds and three assists in just 19 minutes of action. She's a freshman from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
