  Pitcher of the Week – Emily Darwin – Yavapai – In her only outing of the week, the freshman from Benson, AZ and Benson H.S. pitched a five-inning one-hitter, striking out eight and walking only one against Chandler-Gilbert.

  Player of the Week – Elise Munoz – Pima – Hit .813 (13-16) in four games with four doubles and drove in four. She scored seven runs. She is a freshman from Tucson, AZ and Salpointe Catholic H.S.

Pitcher of the Week – No selection

Player of the Week – Alex Reeve – Mesa – The freshman from Chandler, AZ, and Corona del Sol H.S., went 10-12 (.833) in four games. She had two doubles, a home run and six RBIs. She also scored six runs. It is her second weekly selection.

Baseball – Div. I

Player of the Week – Trent Kiraly – Pima – In four games he went 5-14 (.357) with a double, a home run and four RBIs. He is a freshman from Farmington, N.M., and Piedra Vista H.S.

Pitcher of the Week – Darius Garcia  – Pima  – Saw action in two games for a total of seven innings. Allowed four earned runs, nine hits and struck out seven. This is his second weekly selection. He is a freshman from Albuquerque, N.M. and went to Volcano Vista H.S.

Baseball – Div. II

Pitcher of the Week – Tally Wright – Chandler-Gilbert – In his only outing of the week he pitched seven innings, allowing no earned runs, in a win over Yavapai. Her struck out 10 and walked only one. He is a sophomore from Milwaukee, Wisc., and Hamilton H.S.

Player of the Week – Dean Bittner – Mesa  – In five games the sophomore from Phoenix, AZ and Campo Verde H.S. hit .538 (7-13) with two doubles, a home run and six RBIs. He also walked twice and stole two bases.
