Cross Country
Men - Gilbert Olivas - Paradise Valley - The sophomore from Glendale ran a personal-best time for 8,000 meters with a 24:35.4 effort and finished third overall out of 424 runners in the Jim Drews Invitational race, hosted by UW-La Crosse. Olivas also helped lead the #5 ranked Pumas to a fifth-place showing in the team standings.
Women - Kate Brockman - Mesa - The freshman from Mesa ran a personal-best time of 21:44 on the 6000-meter course at the UCR Highlander Invitational. She finished 62nd overall out of 276 runners. This is Brockman's third runner-of-the-week honor this season.
Men's Soccer
Offense - Ivan Lopez - Phoenix - The sophomore from Glendale scored two goals in a 5-0 win over Yavapai to help improve the #1 Bears record to 11-1-1.
Goalkeeper - Justin Zimmerman - Phoenix - The sophomore from Gilbert allowed zero goals in 180 minutes last week to help lead the #1 Bears to two shutout victories against Scottsdale and Yavapai. This is Zimmerman's third player-of-the-week honor this season.
Women's Soccer
DII Offense - Zalma Torres - Phoenix - The sophomore had three goals and one assist in two matches last week as she helped the #2 Bears win both matches, 4-0 and 3-1.
DII Goalkeeper - Angelina Amparano - Pima - The sophomore from Tucson allowed zero goals in 163 minutes last week. Amparano's performance helped the #3 Aztecs win both matches and this is her second player-of-the-week honor this season.
Volleyball
DI Offense - Olivia Lunt - Eastern Arizona - The freshman from Thatcher had 29 kills and six digs in two matches last week to help the Gila Monsters improve their record to 18-8.
DI Defense - Kaia Baker - Eastern Arizona - The sophomore from Porta Westfalica, Germany, had 26 digs, three aces, and 15 kills as she helped the Gila Monsters win both matches last week. This is Baker's second player-of-the-week honor this season.
DII Offense - Shauna Rath - Scottsdale - The sophomore from Peoria had eight kills, 63 assists, and 27 digs as she helped the #4 Fighting Artichokes win both matches last week to remain undefeated this season. This is Rath's third player-of-the-week honor this season.
DII Defense - Kennedy Dastrup - Chandler-Gilbert - The freshman from Mesa had six total blocks and five kills in a 3-0 win over Pima.
