The ACCAC has announced the baseball and softball players of the week for 3/26 - 4/1.
Baseball
Div. I Pitcher - Anthony Imhoff - Pima - The sophomore from Queen Creek allowed only two hits and zero runs in eight innings pitched. He also had nine strikeouts as the Aztecs defeated Scottsdale. This is Imhoff's second POTW honor this season.
Div. I Position Player - Andrew Stucky - Pima - The sophomore from Tucson had five hits, three runs, and three RBIs in 10 at-bats last week. The Aztecs went 3-1 in four games against Chandler-Gilbert and Scottsdale.
Div. II Pitcher - Jose Velasquez - Glendale - The sophomore from Cesar Chavez H.S. allowed just five hits and two runs in 5.1 innings pitched. He also had three strikeouts and earned the victory against Arizona Western.
Softball
Div. I Pitcher - Dezeray Levario - Central Arizona - The sophomore from Laveen allowed only five hits and zero runs in five innings pitched. She also had two strikeouts and earned the victory over Scottsdale.
Div. I Position Player - Cassidy Morrow - Eastern Arizona - The sophomore from Tucson had 10 hits, five runs, and six RBIs in 15 at-bats last week. The Gila Monsters won all four games against Pima and Mesa. This is Morrow's second POTW honor this season.
Div. II Position Player - Iliana Munoz - South Mountain - The freshman from Phoenix had nine hits, nine runs, seven RBIs, and three home runs on 18 at-bats last week. The Cougars won all four games against Gateway and Phoenix College.
