DI Men's Basketball
Matija Gledic – Arizona Western – Gledic earned his first ACCAC Player of the Week honor thanks to a week in which he averaged 19 points and shot 6-for-10 from the three-point line in a pair of Matadors’ wins. Gledic scored 19 points in the Matadors’ road win at Mesa on Wednesday before scoring 19 points again in a win over Scottsdale at home.
DII Men's Basketball
Dillan Baker – Pima – Baker was named the ACCAC DII Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week and third time this season. Baker scored 27 points in a win over Scottsdale on Wednesday, connecting on 7-of-9 from the three-point line. The sophomore finished the week with 12 points in an Aztecs’ road win over Cochise on Saturday.
D1 Women's Basketball
Alynna Palacios – Arizona Western – Palacios averaged a double-double in a pair of Lady Matadors’ wins last week, averaging 14.5 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per contest. The sophomore scored 14 points and had nine rebounds in 40 minutes in the Lady Matadors’ road win over Mesa before scoring 15 points and grabbing a career-high 14 boards in a win over Scottsdale.
D2 Women's Basketball
Rylei Waugh– Pima – Waugh played in 70 of the Aztecs' 80 minutes last week, scoring 32 points and grabbing nine rebounds. The freshman scored 19 points and hauled in eight rebounds in a win at Scottsdale and ended the week with 13 points in 35 minutes in a road loss at Cochise. Waugh has been the ACCAC DII Women’s Basketball Player of the Week three times this season.
