It's Arizona Western leading the pack in ACCACC men's soccer with a 4-0 league record, but Pima and Phoenix are right on the Matadors' heels at 4-1 each.
AZW scored a 12-0 win over Glendale, but then won a key matchup with #11 Phoenix, 1-0, on a goal by Jesus Chillton just six minutes into the contest. The Matadors are 10-2-1 in all matches.
PC is now 9-3 after its first conference loss. In a battle of two ranked teams it picked up a 1-0 overtime win over #7 Pima when David Casteneda connected in the 107th minute. That dropped the Aztecs to 8-2-1 for the year.
Paradise Valley extended its winning streak to four with wins over GateWay, 5-1, and South Mountain, 4-0. The Pumas now have a 4-2 ACCAC mark and are 7-7 in all matches.
Chandler-Gilbert sits at 3-2-1 in league play and 8-4-1 overall after a 2-1 win over Scottsdale, but a 4-0 loss to Yavapai.
YC won twice to improve to 10-3 and 3-2. Jonathan Mayen had a total of four goals as the Roughrider beat CGCC and took a 4-2 win over Mesa.
