Pima men's soccer falls in DII semi-finals

Pima's dream of an NJCAA Division II Men's Soccer championship ended Wednesday when the Aztecs fell to fifth seeded Southeastern, 3-1, in the semi-finals.

The top-seeded Aztecs won the battle of shots, 5-3, but SCC converted on all three of its shots on goal.

Southeastern scored quickly, in the ninth minute and added two goals in the final ten minutes to salt the game away.

The Aztecs finally got on the board in the 87th minute when Seungeon Kim tallied unassisted.

PCC finished the season 12-2, while SCC is 16-2-1.
