Men's Basketball

Division I – Mojus Mojus – Arizona Western – A sophomore from San Diego, Calif., he tossed in 30 in a win over Cochise and averaged 19.3 per game over three AZW wins. He hit 8-18 on threes and also had 19 total rebounds plus six steals, three blocks and two assists.

Division II – Traivar Jackson – Pima – Led by a 33-point outburst against Phoenix, the freshman from Anchorage, Alas., averaged 25.0 points, hitting 22-33 (.667) from the floor. He also averaged 9.5 rebounds and had a total of 12 blocked shots, seven steals and three assists.

Women's Basketball

Division I – Alliance Ndiba – Arizona Western – The freshman from The Congo averaged 20.0 points over  two CAC wins. She also had a 10.5 rebound average, five blocks, three steals and an assist. It is her third weekly selection of the year.

Division II – Taylor Tiulana – Mesa – As the T-Birds won twice, the freshman from Anchorage, Alas., and Anchorage Christian H.S. averaged 17.0 points. She also had nine rebounds an assist and a steal.

Softball – Div. I

Player of the Week – Nicole Ley – Central Arizona – A sophomore from Nogales, AZ, she hit .737 (14-19) in CAC's first five games.  She scored 14 runs and had five RBIs and hit one home run.

Pitcher of the Week – Ana Rodriguez – Central Arizona – Won twice as CAC swept its first five games. Struck out 19 in 10 innings.  Allowed just four hits and three earned runs. She is a sophomore from Tucson, AZ.
