DI Men's Basketball

Jannoy Thomas – Arizona Western – Thomas earned his first ACCAC Player of the Week award after averaging 20.5 points per game in two games last week. The freshman guard scored 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting in the Matadors’ 80-70 win over Cochise on Friday while grabbing six rebounds before scoring 22 points on 8-for-13 shooting in a 78-65 loss to Cochise on Saturday.

DII Men's Basketball

Jaylen Alexander – Pima – Alexander scored 47 points in a pair of Aztecs wins last week, scoring 29 points on 9-for-12 shooting in a 97-81 win over South Mountain while grabbing six rebounds. Alexander finished the week by recording a double-double, scoring 18 points and hauling in 10 rebounds in a 100-90 win over Yavapai on Saturday.

DI Women's Basketball

Fortuna Ngnawo – Cochise – Ngnawo scored 43 points and grabbed 24 rebounds as the Apaches split a pair of games with Arizona Western. Ngnawo started the weekend with 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 60-55 win over the Lady Matadors. The sophomore recorded another double-double the next night, scoring 23 points and hauling in 14 rebounds in a 51-49 loss.

DII Women's Basketball

Jordan Joe - Pima – Joe scored 35 points and 13 rebounds in two Aztec’s wins last week. The sophomore scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a 90-41 win over South Mountain on Wednesday and then scored 20 points while grabbing six boards in a 92-53 win over Yavapai on Saturday.
