As usual, the ACCAC is well represented on the NJCAA pre-season baseball and softball polls.
Division I baseball is particularly strong according to the rankings.
Central Arizona, which posted a 51-9 record last season and fell in the national championship game, is No. 2 this year in DI. Yavapai, 34-21 a year ago, is No. 13 and Arizona Western (33-15) is among others receiving votes.
In DII the league is represented by two teams. Phoenix (26-23) is listed at 15th place and Mesa (25-23) is among the others receiving votes.
In softball, Yavapai, 40-7 a year ago, is No. 5 in Division I. Phoenix, the defending DII national champions at 44-1, is picked No. 1 this season, while South Mountain (27-13) is No. 16.
