BASEBALL

Division I

• No. 13 Cochise College – enters the preseason rankings at No. 13 after a 43-16 (23-13) season in 2025. The Apaches advanced to the NJCAA Region I DI Semifinals before falling to Central Arizona College.

• No. 17 College of Southern Nevada – opens at No. 17 following a 46-13 (27-9) season and a runner-up finish in the NJCAA Region I DI Finals against Central Arizona College.

Division II

• No. 6 South Mountain Community College – enters at No. 6 after a 47-19 (33-7) campaign in 2025. The Cougars captured the NJCAA Region I DII Championship and the NJCAA DII West District Championship before concluding their season at the NJCAA DII Baseball World Series.

• No. 21 Pima Community College – begins the preseason ranked No. 21 after posting a 47-13 (29-11) record and reaching the NJCAA Region I DII Finals.

SOFTBALL

Division I

• No. 23 Arizona Western College – opens at No. 23 after a 33-23 (16-16) season in 2025. The Lady Matadors claimed the NJCAA Region I DI Championship and advanced to the NJCAA DI Softball World Series.

Division II

• No. 6 Pima Community College – enters the preseason ranked No. 6 following a 53-9 (35-7) season and a Region I DII Championship, before falling at the NJCAA DII Softball World Series.

• No. 11 Phoenix College – checks in at No. 11 after a 54-8 (39-3) season in 2025, with postseason appearances in both the NJCAA Region I DII Tournament and the NJCAA DII Softball World Series.
