Scottsdale Community College's Braden Burness has been named the NJCAA DII Baseball Pitcher of the Week following a dominant outing on the mound.

Burness delivered a standout performance, throwing seven scoreless innings while allowing just one hit and striking out 11 to earn the win against Mesa Community College. He controlled the game from start to finish, limiting baserunners and overpowering opposing hitters throughout the outing.

The national honor recognizes Burness as one of the top performers in the country for the week and adds to his strong run of form this season.
