Once again, the ACCAC men's basketball Players of the Week are multiple winners.
Nathaniel Pollard, Jr., of Eastern Arizona, has won in Division I and Scottsdale's Xavier Fuller in Division II. For both players it was their fifth weekly honor. The awards are for the week of Jan. 27-Feb. 2.
Pollard averaged 15.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in EAC wins over Chandler-Gilbert and South Mountain. He shot an even 50 percent from the floor (12-24) and added five blocks, three assists and a steal.
Fuller, a 6-5 sophomore from Mesa, AZ, averaged 23.0 points in victories over the same two teams and included a 30-point effort against South Mountain. He, too, shot an even .500 from the field (17-34) but was also 7-15 (.467) on three-pointers. He also contributed 22 total rebounds, seven assists, five steals and one block.
