Men's Basketball

Division I – Naje Smith – Cochise – the 6-7 sophomore from Spokane, Wash., and Lewis and Clark H.S. was honored for the third time this season. He averaged 23.5 points and 8.5 points in two Apaches' wins, adding four steals, four blocked shots and three assists.

Division II – Rashad Smith – Pima – As the Aztecs picked up a pair of wins the 6-5 sophomore from Chandler, AZ, and Hamilton H.S., had a 25.0 scoring average including a high of 30 against South Mountain. He shot 15-23 (.652) from the field and connected on five of his ten three-point attempts. In addition, he had a total of 18 assists, 17 rebounds, three block and two steals in the Aztecs two victories.

Women's Basketball

Division I – Makayla Pippin – Central Arizona – The 6-1 sophomore from Indianapolis, Ind., and National Christian H.S., had a 19.0 scoring average with a high of 25 against Glendale as CAC ran its winning streak to 13. She also had 21 total rebounds, seven assists and four steals in winning her fourth weekly honor of the year.

Division II – Alyssa Perez – Pima – As the Aztecs won twice the 5-7 sophomore from Marnan H.S. in Marana, AZ., had a 16.0 scoring average and added a total of 13 rebounds, ten assists and a steal.
