With the holidays approaching there were no conference games played among ACCAC men's teams. Here are a few highlights among the non-conference action.
Only two games were played against collegiate competition with Williston St. (ND) the victim in both.
First, Mesa (2-6, 1-5) rallied from a 16-point halftime deficit to score a 67-62 win over the Tetons. Quincy Reece had a 22-15 double-double and B.J. Burries added 19.
The following evening Chandler-Gilbert (11-3, 3-3) stopped WSC, 65-62.
Earlier in the week there were four games played against non-collegiate foes.
CGCC had one of those wins, an 84-61 triumph over Bella Vista Post Grad. Isaiah Somers led the way with 20 points as all five starters scored in double figures.
Glendale (9-3, 3-3) beat Taylor Made Prep, 90-69. Adam Hamilton led the way with 24 points and 15 rebounds.
Scottsdale (7-4, 3-3) blew past Benedictine-Mesa JV, 120-58, as Tyree Tyler led six in double figures with 20 points and Darian Masi had a 17-11 double-double.
Pima (10-3, 4-3) defeated Arizona Sol, 129-85, as Daniel Moody scored 30 points and also grabbed ten rebounds.
