Men's basketball division races will be decided Tuesday

It all comes down to one game Tuesday night to see who will be the ACCAC champion and receive the No. 1 seed in the up-coming Region I, Division I regional tournament.

As this is written, Cochise has a 27-3, 18-2 record and has completed its regular season. Meanwhile, Arizona Western (22-4, 17-2) will host Central Arizona (17-11, 11-8) on the last day of the season. In the first game between those two AZW won, 82-71, on the road.

In addition, there is a three-way race in Division II for the top seed in that regional. Scottsdale (16-11, 10-9) has a one-game edge over Chandler-Gilbert (18-11, 9-10) and Glendale (16-12, 9-10)

SCC will be hosting the league's bottom team, Mesa (5-19, 3-16), however the Artichokes fell to the T-Birds, 68-58, in an earlier meeting.

CGCC will be on the road at South Mountain (13-16, 7-12) a team it defeated 72-58. Glendale will host Phoenix (16-13, 8-11). It beat the Bears, 92-84, in an away game earlier.

The brackets for both divisions will be released Wednesday.
