Parkland, the No. 13 seed, defeated 12^th-seeded Scottsdale, 94-62, in the first consolation round of the NJCAA DII Men's Basketball Tournament Thursday.

  Parkland streaked to a 48-26 halftime lead and was never caught.

  Cameron Faas led SCC with 15 points and Donte Gonzales came off the bench to add 12.
