The Cochise College men's basketball team claimed the NJCAA Region I Men's Basketball Championship on Saturday night with a 102–76 win over College of Southern Nevada in Douglas, Arizona.
With the victory, the Apaches improve to 21–11 overall and advance to the NJCAA West District Championship. Cochise will host College of Southern Idaho on Saturday, March 14 at 7 p.m. inside Stronghold Gymnasium. The winner of the West District Championship will earn a berth in the NJCAA Men's Basketball National Championship.
