The top two seeds (1) Pima and (2) Phoenix will meet for the Regin I, DII men's soccer championship after winning semi-final matches Wednesday.
Pima, 15-1, topped Glendale, 4-2 and Phoenix, s 9-5. shutout Paradise Valley, 3-0.
In the Pima-GCC contest, the Gauchos actually scored first, netting a goal just two minutes into the game. Alfredo Perez scored that one.
The Aztecs, however, took a 2-1 lead into halftime on scores by Jacob Garcia and Franciso Manzo.
GCC then tied it after the half with Perez hitting again.
This time, PCC saw Sam Lossou and Thein Ka score the clinching goals.
Phoenix built 2-0 halftime margin in its game with PVCC. Edwin Meza scored once in each half and Marlon Arce had the other goal.
The two winners will meet Saturday in Tucson at a time to ne determined.
