Salt Lake took both the men's and women's District soccer games from Arizona Western and ended the Matadors' seasons.
The Bruins won both games by identical 2-1 scores and will move on to the NJCAA national championships.
In the men's contest, SLCC took a 2-0 lead with goals by Kai Phillip in each half. Michael Appiah finally connected for AZW at the 87:56 mark, but Western could not produce more late-game magic.
The women's contest saw Salt Lake winning in overtime on a goal by Ashley Hall at 101:10. In that game, the Bruins grabbed a 1-0 lead just after halftime when Aly Starbuck found the net. Four minutes later Diana Sanchez converted with Jaeda Centeno providing the assist.
The Matador men finished the season 18-1. The women were 11-5-2.
