Pima scored twice in the second half to break a scoreless tie at halftime and went on to a 2-0 win over Southeastern (13-9), the number seven seed, in the NJCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship.
The win moves the Aztecs into the semi-finals on Friday against No. 4-seed Georgia Military at 6:00 p.m. MST.
PCC (18-1-1) broke the tie seven minutes into the second half on a goal by Ulysses Torres. Jacob Garcia added some insurance for the second-seeded Aztecs at the 69:37 mark.
Juan Suarez made two saves in goal as Pima out-shot SCC, 4-2.
