Ephraim, UT - The Arizona Western men's soccer team won the NJCAA Div. I West District Championship as they defeated Snow College, 3-2, on Saturday night.

In the first half, the Badgers were able to respond quickly to each of the Matador's goals to keep the game tied at 2 at halftime. In the second half, Paolo Grizzetti scored in the 61st minute to give AWC the lead, and were able to hold on for the win.

With the victory, the Matadors (16-2) officially punched their ticket to the NJCAA Div. I National Tournament. Last year, AWC made it all the way to the national title game before falling to Iowa Western, 2-0.

The tournament will start on Nov. 13th and will run through the 19th at the Orlando Health Stadium in Melbourne, FL.
