KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 19, 2025) — United Soccer Coaches announced on Friday that David Cameron and the Phoenix College Men's Soccer coaching staff have been named the 2025 NJCAA Division II National Staff of the Year, as voted on by coaches from across the country.
The honor recognizes a historic 2025 season for the Bears, highlighted by national championship success, record-breaking performances, and sustained excellence on and off the field. Under Cameron's leadership, Phoenix College produced one of the most accomplished seasons in program history.

The United Soccer Coaches National Staff of the Year Award represents the highest coaching honor at the NJCAA level. All Regional Staff of the Year recipients appeared on the national ballot, along with coaching staffs from programs that advanced to the semifinals of their respective championships.
David Cameron and the Phoenix College coaching staff will be formally recognized at the United Soccer Coaches Awards Ceremony on January 16, 2026, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pa., in conjunction with the annual United Soccer Coaches Convention.
