Cookson went 11 for 14 including 5 doubles last week, helping Western to a 3-1 record. She also had 12 RBIs and scored 6 runs.

D1 Pitcher of the Week: Dustie Durham - Yavapai

Dustie was 2-1 on the week while beating Lake Region and Howard College.  Dustie threw 19 innings while only allowing 11 hits and 2 base on balls.  In addition, Dustie struck out 16 batters while giving up just 3 earned runs.  She also went 8-20 at the plate, 9 RBIs, 7 runs scored with 3 home runs.
