Yavapai, Central Arizona and Eastern Arizona all still have just one conference loss in ACCAC softball.
YC (25-2, 17-1) took down both Scottsdale and Glendale in doubleheaders last week. Against SCC (2-14, 2-14) the Roughriders won 13-0 and 21-1. Mia Weckel hit two home runs, one in each game. In the pair with Glendale (8-10, 7-9), Yavapai won, 17-6 (5) and 25-1 (5),
CAC (24-1, 15-1) stretched its winning streak to 13 with sweeps of Glendale and Pima. In the wins over GCC, the Vaqueras won, 15-6 (6) and 7-0. Nicole Ley collected five total hits while Bella Garcia hit two out. Central then topped Pima (6-10, 6-10) twice, 4-2 and 8-0 (5). This time Garcia had a total of four hits.
EAC (23-3, 15-1) has now won ten straight. Its first two last week came over Paradise Valley (1-17, 1-17) by 11-2 (6) and 18-8 scores. Gabby Romero and Charlotte Velasquez had a total of six hits each. Then, in a pair of identical 8-0 (5) victories over South Mountain, (16-12, 9-9) Solymar Navarro led the way with five total hits.
