Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Tyreeq Jones – Glendale Community College
Jones delivered a dominant outing at the CAC Indoor Invitational, winning the 60 meters in 6.66 seconds and the 200 meters in 20.52. Those marks moved him to No. 3 nationally in the 60m and No. 1 in the 200m at the NJCAA Division I level. This is Jones' second ACCAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor this season.
Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Lucy Melzer – Mesa Community College
Melzer captured first place in the 1000 meters with a time of 2:59.77 at the CAC Indoor Invitational, a performance that currently ranks No. 9 in the nation at the NJCAA Division I level.
Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Connor Wilson – Mesa Community College
Wilson earned first place in the pole vault at the CAC Indoor Invitational with a clearance of 4.48 meters, a mark that ranks No. 10 nationally in NJCAA Division I competition.
Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Kymia Bridgets – Pima Community College
Bridgets took first in the triple jump at the CAC Indoor Invitational with a leap of 12.11 meters, moving her to No. 2 in the country at the NJCAA Division I level.
