Faris captured first place in the 100 meters, clocking a 10.65 to win the event at the Cody McBride Invitational.

Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Mickayla Gardener — Central Arizona College
Gardener won first-place finish in the 200 meters and also ran on Central Arizona's winning 4x100 relay team at the Cody McBride Invitational.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Noah Brezina — Glendale Community College
Brezina won the hammer throw at the Cody McBride Invitational with a mark of 53.56 meters, qualifying for the NJCAA Championships. His mark ranks No. 4 nationally this season.

Camden Ehlich — Mesa Community College
Ehlich won the long jump with a mark of 7.75 meters (25+ feet) at the Cody McBride Invitational.
