The ACCAC Track & Field Championships are set for Friday, April 3 at Mesa Community College, featuring a full day of competition with conference titles on the line.
Field events begin at 3:00 PM and run through the evening. The opening session includes women's pole vault, women's hammer throw, and men's javelin. At 4:00 PM, events shift to men's pole vault, women's long jump, men's hammer throw, and women's javelin. The men's long jump follows at 5:00 PM. At 6:00 PM, the schedule includes women's high jump, men's discus, and women's shot put. The 7:00 PM window features men's high jump, women's triple jump, women's discus, and men's shot put, before closing with the men's triple jump at 8:00 PM.
Running events begin at 5:00 PM with the women's 3000m steeplechase, followed by the men's race at 5:15 PM. Relay action starts with the women's 4x100m at 5:30 PM and the men's 4x100m at 5:35 PM. Distance and mid-distance events continue with the women's 1500m at 5:45 PM and men's 1500m at 5:55 PM.
Hurdles follow with the women's 100m hurdles at 6:10 PM and men's 110m hurdles at 6:20 PM. The 400m races are scheduled for 6:30 PM (women) and 6:40 PM (men), followed by the 100m sprints at 6:50 PM (women) and 7:00 PM (men). The 800m races are set for 7:10 PM (women) and 7:20 PM (men).
The final stretch of running events includes the women's 400m hurdles at 7:35 PM and men's 400m hurdles at 7:45 PM, followed by the 200m races at 7:55 PM (women) and 8:10 PM (men). Distance finals close out the individual events with the women's 5000m at 8:25 PM and men's 5000m at 8:50 PM. The championships conclude with the 4x400m relays at 9:10 PM (women) and 9:20 PM (men).
Mesa Community College will serve as the host site for one of the ACCAC's premier events, as top performances and conference titles are decided across the track and field.
