The Pima women are still alive in the consolation bracket of the NJCAA Division II National Championship following a 69-58 win over North Platte (Neb.).
Pima will now play 13th-seeded Grand Rapids (Mich.) Friday at Approximately 10 a.m. Arizona time.
The Aztecs, seeded ninth, pulled away in the second half after grabbing a 26-24 halftime margin against the 16th-seeded Grand Rapids team.
Fama Thiam and Sierra Mich'l each scored 15 points for PCC, while Nikya Orange hauled down 16 rebounds.
The tournament is being held in Hickory, N.C.
