Mesa Community College Women's Golf continues to control the field at the NJCAA Region I Women's Golf Championships.

Mesa Community College leads the team standings at +102, followed closely by South Mountain at +109. Paradise Valley sits in third at +271.

Individually, South Mountain's Lexi Tuinstra leads the field at +14 through two rounds, while Mesa fills out the remainder of the top five with four golfers in contention.

Abree Germaine leads the Thunderbirds in second at +16, followed by teammate Annalise Kooner in third at +27. Sara Sawyer sits fourth at +29, while Elina Beyer rounds out the top five at +30.

Round three of the Region I Championships continues Wednesday at Ocotillo Golf Course.
