Pima is the only team remaining unbeaten women's soccer team in ACCAC play as the season hits its middle stages.
The Aztecs are 3-0 in league play. They picked up two ACCAC wins by 8-0 scores, beating GateWay and South Mountain. Nikki Suckell, Savannah Robinson, and Brianna Lewis each scored a pair of goals in one of the games. PCC is 6-3 in all matches.
Phoenix, Mesa and Chandler-Gilbert are 3-1 in the conference. PC picked up a pair of thrilling, 1-0, victories. Tu Nguyen had the game-winners in both contests. The Bears stopped Chandler-Gilbert on an early goal by Nguyen in the 16th minute. Ana Bacigalupi made seven saves to preserve the shutout. Nguyen then scored in the 48th minute against Mesa with Bacigalupi making six saves. PC is 6-2-2 overall.
Chandler-Gilbert knocked off Glendale, 12-0, in its other game last week as Kenadi Green scored five times. The Coyotes are 8-2 in all games.
Mesa is also 3-1 in the conference. MCC beat Glendale, 6-0, in its other game with Annabella Bara and Becky Larsen scoring two each. The T-Birds are 7-3-1.
Arizona Western and Cochise each have 2-0-1 ACCAC records. AZW got two conference wins, defeating South Mountain, 3-1, and GateWay, 6-0, to go to 6-2-2.
Cochise tied Paradise Valley, 1-1, in double overtime in its only game last week as is now 3-4-1.
