Pima remains the lone ACCAC women's soccer team unbeaten team after play from Oct. 1-6, but two other schools have only a tie to blemish the marks.
The Aztecs sipped past Phoenix, 3-2 in overtime on Valentina Franco's goal in the 96th minute. PCC also won 5-0 over Glendale with Julianna Robles scoring twice. Pima is 5-0 in the ACCAC and 8-3 overall
Arizona Western and Cochise each have 4-0-1 league records.
AZW won twice, the key victory coming against Phoenix, 2-0, The Matadors also beat Glendale, 12-0, and have an 8-2-2 record.
Cochise is now 5-4-1 after a 2-1 overtime victory against Chandler-Gilbert and a 2-0 triumph over Mesa. Anahi Hernandez netted the game-winner over CGCC in the 100th minute.
Mesa and Chandler-Gilbert are both 4-2 in the ACCAC. MCC had a roller coaster week with a 2-1 victory over a Scottsdale team that had beaten it, 6-1, earlier in the season, but then lost to Cochise.
CGCC is 9-3 overall after a 3-1 win at Scottsdale.
Paradise Valley also sits over the .500 mark at 3-1-2. The Pumas, now 8-3-3 in all matches, had two big wins last week, over GateWay, 7-0, and South Mountain, 12-0.
Phoenix is still in contention at 3-3 in ACCAC play. The Bears suffered two tough losses against Pima and Arizona Western.
