This time it was Cochise's turn to sweep the ACCAC women's soccer Player of the Week honors.

  The Apaches' Maria Azarias, a freshman from Santa Catarina, Brazil, and Brianna Guzman, a freshman from Douglas, AZ, were named Field Player and Goalkeeper of the Week respectively for the Week of Oct. 1-6.

  Azarias had two goals and an assist off six shots on goal for CC in wins over Chandler-Gilbert and Mesa.

  Guzman made a total of 15 saves in those two games, allowing just one goal.
