Scottsdale will begin its quest for a volleyball national championship Thursday in Charleston, W.Va.
The third-seeded, and fourth-ranked, Artichokes will face Oakland, seeded #14 but unranked nationally, in a match that will begin at 7 a.m. MST.
SCC is on a 22-match winning streak and has a 25-4 overall record. Oakland, from Auburn Hills, Mich., is 19-7 for the year.
Should Scottsdale win, it will play the winner of a match between #6 seed Gulf Coast State and 11th-seeded McHenry, Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Arizona time.
