CENTRAL ARIZONA SWEEPS REGION TITLES AT ACCAC/NJCAA REGION I CHAMPIONSHIPS

The No. 6 Central Arizona College men's team captured the NJCAA Region I DI title and ACCAC Championship, scoring 48 points. The Vaqueros placed three runners in the top five as Carson Wetzel (2nd, 25:57.4), Joel Barros (3rd, 26:06.7), and Emmanuel Simiyu (5th, 26:08.6) led the way.

No. 16 College of Southern Nevada earned runner-up honors with 83 points. The Coyotes were paced by Dominic Tsao (10th, 26:23.0), Jayden Jackson (12th, 26:30.8), and Aidan Miller (20th, 27:03.8).

No. 18 Pima Community College rounded out the top three with 103 points, highlighted by Jose Hernandez's 13th-place finish in 26:32.2.

On the women's side, the No. 10 Central Arizona College women's team claimed the NJCAA Region I DI Championship, totaling 60 points with five runners finishing inside the top 20.

The Vaqueras were led by Lillian Kamm (8th, 19:58.1), Hannah Hammer (10th, 20:13.0), Tyara Hernandez (11th, 20:14.0), Emerson Young (15th, 20:58.2), and Larisa Hernandez (16th, 20:58.7).

No. 23 Pima Community College placed second totaling 115 points with standout performances from Madeline Mitchell (14th, 20:50.2) and Sofia Cambridge (18th, 21:08.4).

No. 16 College of Southern Nevada took thirdwith 121 points, led by Cheyenne Dillingham, who placed 13th in 20:35.0.
